Our courses

ATPL Theory offers full time theory courses for all ATPL subjects. Our courses focus on the individual – we know that everyone has different learning styles and will learn at different rates. ATPL Theory limits its class sizes, enabling one-on-one interaction with every student to ensure that all your learning needs are met. We’re proud to offer this service at a competitive price, in fantastic facilities with expert instructors. We are all passionate about teaching are committed to helping you succeed in passing all of your ATPL subjects.

Our courses have been carefully and specifically created to prepare you to successfully pass each CASA ATPL examination, and to provide all required aeronautical knowledge as per the CASR Part 61 Manual of Standards. Students enrolled in our course will also ATPL Theory’s comprehensive and detailed textbooks, premium practice exams and notes for each subject. 

Booking

To confirm your position in one of our ATPL courses you will need to provide a $300 deposit via our online store. Your deposit not only secures your position in our class but also enables you to receive our course notes for pre-reading ahead of your course commencement. You can then settle the balance at any time before the first day of class.

2026 Course dates

In 2026 ATPL Theory is running two eight-week, full-time ATPL courses. Our second set of course dates are:

ATPL Performance and Loading: 23/11/26 - 30/11/26

ATPL Flight Planning: 07/12/26 - 17/12/26

ATPL Navigation: 06/01/27 - 12/01/27

ATPL Aerodynamics and Systems: 18/01/27 - 26/01/27

Structure and pricing

All of our courses are run in person Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5pm. Formal teaching will run from 9am until 4pm with the remainder of the day used for questions and general revision. Our course pricing is below:

ATPL Flight Planning: $2080

ATPL Performance and Loading: $1300

ATPL Aerodynamics and Systems: $1560

ATPL Navigation: $1300

ATPL Meteorology: $780

ATPL Air Law: $780

ATPL Human Factors: $780

Note: all prices are inclusive of GST.
